Task
Design of a Forensic Report Template for Non-Consensual Media (MMS) Cases
Task: Design of Forensic Report Template for Media-Based Cases (Sniffer Forensics)
Objective
The goal of this task is to design a complete and structured forensic report format for Sniffer Forensics, specifically for media-based cases, including non-consensual intimate content (MMS leaks), manipulated media, and sensitive content.
We are not finalizing the report structure from our side yet — we want your expertise to help define what a proper, realistic, and usable forensic report should look like for this kind of platform.
Context
Sniffer Forensics is being built as a platform that:
- analyzes images/videos for harmful or sensitive content
- helps identify risk and exposure
- documents findings in a structured forensic format
- supports reporting and takedown of non-consensual content
in simple words sniffer's core module works as: it guides the user from the initial discovery when the victim gets to know his/her deepfake or private intimate moment has been leaked. sniffer take an image as an input does forensic analysis on that images, helps identify to how many platforms the image/video has been escalated. and how to takedown the content from that specific platform
Unlike traditional digital forensics (devices, logs, disk analysis), our focus is primarily on media-level analysis and platform-level presence.
What We Expect From You
We would like you to define the report structure itself, based on your understanding of digital forensics and real-world practices.
Instead of following a fixed format, you should:
- decide what sections should exist in the report
- define what information should be captured in each section
- structure the report in a logical and professional way
- ensure the report is understandable by both technical and non-technical users
Key Areas to Consider
While designing the report, you may consider including aspects such as:
- content/media description
- classification of content (sensitive, intimate, manipulated, etc.)
- risk or severity assessment
- evidence documentation
- presence of content across platforms
- analysis findings and interpretation
- recommended actions (especially for takedown/reporting)
- overall conclusion
These are only guiding points — you are free to expand, modify, or redefine the structure as needed.
Expected Deliverables
1. Structured Report Template
- Complete format of the forensic report
- Clearly defined sections and subsections
- Explanation of what each section represents
2. Sample / Mock Case
- Create a sample report using a hypothetical case
- Show how the full report would look in practice
- Keep it simple but realistic
3. Simplicity & Clarity
- Avoid unnecessary jargon
- Ensure readability for non-technical users
- Maintain professional tone
Format
- Document format (Word / PDF)
- Clear headings and structured sections
- Bullet points or formatted content where needed
Notes
- This will be used as the foundation for building the report system inside Sniffer Forensics
- Your structure will directly influence how reports are generated in the platform
- We may iterate on this after review and refine it further together
Timeline
- Approx. 3–4 days (flexible based on your availability)

Hi Roshni,
This is Misbah.
I went through the document — it is very well structured and gives exactly the kind of clarity we were looking for from a forensic perspective.
Alignment on Use Case
One thing I wanted to align on is that for Sniffer, we are focusing on a slightly different type of case compared to traditional system forensics.
Instead of device-level investigations (laptops, logs, disk analysis), our focus is on media-based cases, especially:
- non-consensual intimate content (MMS leaks)
- presence of such content across platforms
Next Step
The next step would be to adapt this structure towards a media-focused forensic report.
For example, shifting towards:
- analyzing an image or video instead of a device
- identifying risk level and content type
- documenting where the content is found online
- structuring evidence for takedown and reporting
Task
If you're okay with it, you can take the same structure and create a version specifically for a media case (e.g., MMS leak scenario).
This will directly help us integrate the report into the Sniffer platform.
Looking forward to your updated version.

Yaa I’m getting it lit bit rest again I’ll try once but it will take some time as I’m in working profession so again I’ll go through it and update you.

keep me posted regarding the updates of it. or even if you have any doubt.
